ABC Announces Fall Premieres

BURBANK: ABC has slated its fall premiere dates for the 2010-11 season, with the return of Dancing with the Stars and Castle kicking off the new lineup on September 20.

The following day will see the launch of Detroit 1-8-7, starring The Sopranos’ Michael Imperioli. On Wednesday, September 22, the new comedy The Middle leads off a night of premieres that also includes Better With You (formerly titled Better Together), Modern Family, Cougar Town and The Whole Truth. My Generation makes its series debut on September 23, followed by the return of Grey’s Anatomy and Private Practice. ABC’s Sunday night block of Extreme Makeover: Home Edition, Desperate Housewives and Brothers & Sisters is back with new episodes starting September 26. On Tuesday, September 28, No Ordinary Family takes on the 8 p.m. time slot.
