Sequel for Rosamunde Pilcher Mini-Series Adaptation

MUNICH/LONDON: Tele München Group and Gate Television & Film Productions have started work on the mini-series Rosamunde Pilcher’s Shades of Love, a sequel to the bestselling adaptation September.

Filming will take place in two of Scotland’s oldest estates. Charles Dance (White Mischief, Gosford Park, Scoop) will play Edmund Aird and Eleonore Weisgerber (Albert Schweitzer, Dr. M) his wife, Virginia. Eileen Atkins (Cold Mountain, Robin Hood), Rebecca Night (Wuthering Heights), Susanna Simon, Suzan Anbeh, Johannes Zirner, Liam Evans-Ford, Jessie Buckley, Adrian Lukis, Michael Brandon, Freddy Fox, Harriet Walter and Anthony Higgins are all part of the ensemble cast.

Shades of Love will be directed by Giles Foster and scripted by Matt Thomas. TMG is producing the mini-series in co-production with Gate Television, ORF, RHI and Power for ZDF.
