Rubicon Names Development Chief

LOS ANGELES: Marlene Sharp has been tapped as director of development at Rubicon Studios, where she will find IP for the company to develop across multiple platforms.

Sharp will also be responsible for finding production and co-production partners on new and existing projects. Announcing the appointment, executive producer David J. Corbett said: “Marlene is a seasoned development executive whose work has helped a number of intellectual properties for children realize their full potential in the marketplace. We are pleased to welcome her to our team and anticipate extensive growth for our company under her guidance.

Sharp joins Rubicon from Two Twiggs & A Berry Productions, where she served as co-CEO and producer. She was previously producer and manager of distribution and marketing at the U.S. office of Korean outfit Enemes.
