Blu Renamed FremantleMedia Sweden

LONDON: The Swedish TV production company Blu has been formally renamed FremantleMedia Sweden. 

“The company started as a subsidiary of Blu Denmark, and although our name has always been FremantleMedia Sweden, we originally chose to call ourselves Blu," said Claes Leinstedt, the managing director of FremantleMedia Sweden. "To simplify matters for everyone we have now opted to commercially operate using only the name FremantleMedia Sweden. Despite the change in name, it is business as usual for FremantleMedia Sweden and we continue to create world-class inspiring entertainment for viewers,” 

The company began in 2006 as a division of the FremantleMedia Group. It has produced show such as Talang, Rent Hus and Tack Gode Gud for TV4; Glasklart, Stå Upp for SVT; Dating in the Dark for Kanal 5 and Hål i Väggen for TV6.
