UNITEL Signs Deal with DishHD in Taiwan

TAIPEI/MUNICH, June 18: The Taiwanese DTH operator DishHD and the German company UNITEL have inked an agreement for the carriage of the premium classic music channel UNITEL CLASSICA HD.

UNITAL CLASSIC HD, which features operas and concerts from today alongside legendary classics, launched in Asia last year and has since expanded to several platforms in Korea and Taiwan. In Europe, the UNITEL CLASSICA channels air in Germany, Italy and Spain, among other countries.

UNITEL’s CEO, Jan Mojto, said: "Through our partnership with DishHD, we’ve come one step closer toward our goal of making classical music available in the best quality around the world."
