LOS ANGELES: Kerry Valentine has joined Rubicon Studios’ production team in Woodland Hills, California, where she is responsible for the day-to-day production activities for the company’s entire slate of animated projects.

As head of production, Valentine will oversee the production activities on projects such as a new season of the 3D animated children’s comedy and adventure series Ben & Izzy, as well as other initiatives that are part of Rubicon’s recently announced strategic partnership with Turner Broadcasting.

Valentine worked with Rubicon in 2008 as a production manager on the MGM co-production Pink Panther & Pals and was upped to supervising producer. She joined Rubicon after serving as a post-production supervisor at Funny Garbage on Young Person’s Guide to History for Adult Swim and on Harder High for MTV.

“Having worked with Kerry over the past two years, we are thrilled to solidify her position as an important member of our production team. Her demonstrated production skills together with an innate talent for managing people—and the entire production process—will serve us well as we all work to realize the vision of our CEO, Randa Ayoubi, to make Rubicon a significant player in the worldwide marketplace for animated entertainment,” said David Corbett, Rubicon’s executive producer.

“It is truly an honor to become a member of David Corbett’s team as we build Rubicon’s leadership position in the Hollywood animation community. Considering the out-of-the box success of Pink Panther & Pals, I think we are off to an incredible start,” added Valentine.
