AXN to Launch in HD in Singapore

SINGAPORE: AXN HD will be made available in Singapore starting May 25, becoming the first English-language general-entertainment channel to be broadcast in high definition on StarHub.

Shows set to air on the HD network include NCIS: Los Angeles, the CSI franchise and Leverage. AXN HD will be available free of charge to all StarHub TV customers from May 25 to July 31. A HubStation HD or HD set-top box is needed to receive the channel, and customers must also have a subscription to the service’s Entertainment Basic Group. Further pricing information will be made available at a later date.
