Outright Secures First-Look Deal

LONDON: Outright Distribution has signed a two-year exclusive first-look agreement with indie producer Trilby Films, which specializes in documentaries, factual entertainment and comedic drama.

The deal is for all newly commissioned product, with Outright securing ten-year distribution rights for shows. Outright will also assist in raising deficit and co-production financing as well as in securing commissions from the U.S. Highlights from Trilby’s slate of projects in development and pre-production include 9/11: The Greatest Work of Art and a two-part series entitled JFK: The Assassination Event.

Chris Bonney, the managing director of Outright Distribution, said: "Trilby is a talent driven production company with big ambitions, an excellent team and some great projects on the slate. We very much look forward to working with them."
