Globo Notches Up Deals on Watercolors of Love

SÃO PAULO: Watercolors of Love, one of Globo TV International’s key novelas at the L.A. Screenings this week, has shored up deals in 12 markets since its launch on the international market four months ago.

The novela has begun airing in El Salvador on Canal 4. Next month it rolls out to Teletica in Costa Rica and ATB in Bolivia. Sales have also been concluded to Honduras, the Dominican Republic, Peru and Portugal, among others.

In its home market of Brazil, the telenovela by Walcyr Carrasco (Pepper Chocolate, Soul Mate) shored up a 57-percent share in its time slot. It stars Flávia Alessandra and Malvino Salvador.
