Nat Geo to Air Special on Deep-Sea Oil Divers

WASHINGTON, D.C.: National Geographic Channel tonight premieres the first episode of a two-part documentary about offshore commercial oil and gas divers in the Gulf of Mexico.

The first episode of Delta Divers airs tonight, with the second part airing next Wednesday at 9 p.m. The broadcast comes as intense scrutiny is being placed on the offshore oil industry in the wake of the BP oil spill.

Produced by the Peabody Award-winning team of Scott B and Sandy Guthrie of Antenna Films, Delta Divers chronicles the stories of deep-sea divers working hundreds of feet beneath the surface of the water.
