Carsey-Werner Founders to Be Honored at Monte-Carlo TV Festival

MONACO: At the 50th Monte-Carlo Television Festival, Marcy Carsey and Tom Werner are to receive the Honorary Golden Nymph award.

Carsey and Werner will be presented the award by H.S.H. Prince Albert II of Monaco, who presides over the festival, at the Gala Golden Nymph Awards Ceremony of the Festival on June 10 at the Grimaldi Forum in Monaco. Carsey-Werner brought to the marketplace hits such as Roseanne, The Cosby Show, 3rd Rock from the Sun, That ’70s Show, Grace Under Fire, Cybill and A Different World.

“Marcy and Tom have changed the television landscape with their groundbreaking shows, and they have embraced the global importance of programming with shows distributed around the world during the last three decades through their U.S. comedy giant Carsey Werner Company,” stated David Tomatis, the festival’s CEO.
