Video Interview: Jason Priestley

NEW YORK: Best known as good guy Brandon Walsh on the classic ’90s series Beverly Hills 90210, Jason Priestley is taking on a very different character in E1 Entertainment’s dark comedy Call Me Fitz. In this video interview he talks about his new role.

Priestley met with World Screen while in Cannes ahead of hosting the International Digital Emmys. He was in town to promote Call Me Fitz, which is being distributed worldwide by E1. In the comedy, Priestley—whose recent TV credits also include The Day of the Triffids and My Name is Earl—plays a morally questionable used-car salesman, Richard “Fitz” Fitzpatrick. The series is slated to air on The Movie Network and Movie Central in Canada this year.
