UNIVERSAL CITY: This November, during NBC’s annual "Green in Universal" week, the network will air Harmony, a one-hour special about climate change featuring the Prince of Wales.

The special is inspired by Prince Charles’ own environmental activism. NBC’s press release announcing the special said: "He believes that we have lost the once innate understanding of how to live in harmony with the natural world and within its limits. The Prince, however, does not see the situation as irretrievable, and believes that if we act now we can restore the rightful balance between Man and nature."

In addition to Prince Charles, the special will feature environmentalists, entrepreneurs, farmers, business and government leaders who are pioneering solutions to the climate crisis, as well as rare footage of Prince Charles interviewing former VP and Nobel Prize winner Al Gore about climate change from a film he made in 1988.

Paul Telegdy, executive VP of alternative programming at NBC and Universal Media Studios, commented: "The Prince of Wales has such a passion and vision in providing leadership on this crucial climate issue that confronts the world. We are honored to partner with him to showcase these issues that are important to American audiences.”

Harmony, from Balcony Films and Harmony Film, is produced and directed by Julie Bergman Sender and Stuart Sender.
