Discovery Passes 100 Million Subscriber Mark

SILVER SPRING: Discovery Channel has hit a new milestone, having notched up distribution in 100.1 million U.S. homes.

In passing the 100 million subscriber mark, Discovery Channel is now the second-most widely distributed cable network in the U.S. and the number one channel worldwide. As a whole, the channel is distributed to 380 million subscribers in more than 180 countries. The channel is celebrating its 25th anniversary this year.
