Swedish Deals for Banijay

PARIS/COPENHAGEN: Banijay International has sold three shows to Swedish broadcasters, all of which will be produced by company affiliate Nordisk Film TV.

Banijay has scored renewals for two of its flagship formats, Construction Nightmares and Sold, with TV4. Construction Nightmares was re-commissioned for eight episodes, and pre-production will start this summer, with season two slated to launch in 2011. The property show Sold was re-commissioned for a further 14 episodes. Meanwhile, Celebrity Devil Race, a fast-paced reality series, is set to air on SBS broadcaster Kanal 5 later this year.
