FOX to Re-Broadcast Madonna Glee Episode

LOS ANGELES: DVR users who missed the last few minutes of the Madonna episode of Glee will have a second opportunity to watch the show, which FOX is rebroadcasting tomorrow night.

The highly anticipated episode on Tuesday night featured some of Madonna’s greatest hits, as performed by the show’s cast. Powered by an American Idol lead-in, the series delivered 13.5 million viewers in its 9 p.m. slot. DVR users, however, missed the last few minutes of the episode because Idol ran late. FOX today announced that the show will re-air Friday at 9 p.m. in place of Kitchen Nightmares.

The network has also revealed that the GLEE: The Music, The Power of Madonna album, released Tuesday, is currently the number one album on iTunes. The album features the series’ take on Like A Virgin, Express Yourself, Vogue, 4 Minutes and more.
