A&E Presents New Original Drama

NEW YORK: The original scripted drama series The Glades, previously titled Sugarloaf, is to make its debut on July 13 at 10 p.m. on A&E Network.

The police procedural is set in the fictional town of Palm Glade, Florida. The show centers on a homicide detective from Chicago, who relocates to a sleepy town, where things are not as beautiful as they may seem. It stars Matt Passmore (McLeod’s Daughters, Underbelly), Kiele Sanchez (Lost, Samantha Who?) and Carlos Gomez (Shark, Sleeper Cell). The Glades is produced by Fox Television Studios for A&E Network. The series executive producer is Clifton Campbell (White Collar, Profiler, 21 Jump Street) for Innuendo Productions and Gary Randall (Saving Grace) for Grand Productions.
