ZDF’s Bassiner to Deliver Keynote at Monte-Carlo TV Festival

MONACO: Klaus Bassiner, the managing director of series at ZDF, will present the opening speech on the second day of TV Xchanges as part of the 50th annual Monte-Carlo Television Festival.

TV Xchanges, taking place June 9 and 10 during the festival, will explore the opportunities and challenges of co-production, production funding and developing business models within content creation. The event, which has a particular focus on the German market, offers a lineup of high-profile producers from Europe and the U.S., as well as execs from production companies, networks’ programming departments, financial organizations, governmental and regional institutions.

Bassiner has worked within ZDF for more than 16 years and possesses an in-depth knowledge of the German broadcasting landscape.
