CANNES: Comcast International Media Group (CIMG) has picked up the exclusive worldwide distribution rights for more than 200 hours of motor sports programming, which are all available in HD.

The programs, each with 16 9-minute episodes, have all had successful runs on the Latin American channel El Garage. Titles include Evolution Cars, keeping viewers up to date of the world of cars; Motormax, which offers up information on everything from the latest technologies and most recognized car exhibitions; and The Garage, looking at a range of aspects in the motoring genre. There’s also Holy Wheels, which spotlights various motor shows and car events around the world.

“Our new motor shows are a wonderful complement to programming from CIMG’s top male-targeted brands—Golf Channel, G4 and Versus,” said Duccio Donati, the executive VP at CIMG. “CIMG’s audiences are passionate about their interests, and we’re pleased to expand our catalog offerings to include titles from the automotive sphere.”
