PALISADES PARK: For the 16th consecutive year, Alfred Haber Distribution has scored the exclusive international distribution rights for the Golden Globe Awards, which will air on NBC in January 2011.

The three-hour live event, produced by dick clark productions (dcp) in conjunction with the Hollywood Foreign Press Association (HFPA), presents honors in television and film categories. For the 2010 Golden Globes, Alfred Haber Distribution notched up more than 150 international licensees.

“AHDI [Alfred Haber Distribution, Inc.] has represented the Golden Globe Awards for over 16 years and has helped dcp and the HFPA build the show’s popularity around the world. We are delighted to continue this successful relationship,” said Orly Adelson, the president of dick clark productions.

“The hallmark of any business success is consistency and a Golden Globe award has consistently been one of the most sought after prizes in the film and television industry,” commented Alfred Haber, the founder of AHDI. “AHDI is proud as well of its own consistency for the past 16 years in shepherding the spectacular growth of this stellar program—one of the three most-watched award shows in the U.S.”
