DECODE to Launch New CG Animated Series

TORONTO/LONDON: At MIPTV, DECODE Enterprises is to launch a new CG animated series from Halifax Film, Pirates, Adventures in Art, commissioned by CBC.
 
Aimed at 4- to 6-year-olds, the series is available in two formats: 12 minutes and a longer version of 12 minutes and 45 seconds that includes footage from children’s art instructions held at the Art Gallery of Nova Scotia. In the series, Captain Leo and his crew of art-loving pirates set sail on daring missions to restore the creative arts lost to the communities under Queen Conformia’s rule.
 
Josh Scherba, the senior VP of distribution at DECODE Enterprises, said: “Halifax Film has a great track record in producing top-quality preschool entertainment with strong international appeal and we’re looking forward to showcasing this brand new show at MIPTV.
