RDF to Launch Israeli Entertainment Format

LONDON: RDF Rights has secured a deal with Keshet Broadcasting to represent its new entertainment format Deal With It!, a half-hour hidden-camera game show, which will make its debut at MIPTV.

Created by Keshet and United Studios, Deal With It! watches ordinary people who are out to dinner or coffee and are approached to participate in a game show for the chance to win cash prizes. They must answer questions and complete challenges without revealing to their unsuspecting companions that they are actually participating in a game show.

Deal With It! is a refreshing new way of approaching the game-show genre, combining challenges and questions with a heavy dose of genuine comedy,” said RDF Rights’ head of light-entertainment acquisitions, Barnaby Shingleton. “Keshet has an enviable reputation for the development and creation of cutting-edge entertainment formats and we’re extremely pleased to be representing their new show in the international market.”

Avi Nir, Keshet’s CEO, added, “As buyers, we have had a very successful, long-standing relationship with RDFR. We’ve been looking for the opportunity to collaborate on the sales side and are delighted to have found it with DWI. RDF’s outstanding creative and flexible approach to format sales as well as production makes them the perfect partner for us to roll out this extremely entertaining format in the international market.”
