Televisa Picks Up Two More Pol-Ka Titles

MEXICO CITY: Two new telenovelas from Pol-ka have joined the catalogue of Televisa Internacional: Somebody to Love Me and Wicked Girl. 

The 210×1-hour Somebody to Love Me follows a woman who seeks refuge in her cousin’s home after years of abuse from her tyrant husband. Her cousin offers her a job in the bakery of a farmer’s market. There, she meets Rodolfo, who has been in prison for a crime he didn’t commit. The story chronicles as the two fall in love.

Wicked Girl, with 120 hour-long episodes, is a story of revenge. A poor woman fell in love with a wealthy man, but he chose to marry someone from his own social class. The woman wound up dying from a broken heart. Now, 20 years later, the daughter of this woman decides to seek justice by using her beauty as a weapon. Her plot for vengeance is interrupted when she falls for the son of the man she hates.
