ITV Scores New Commissions for Come Dine with Me

LONDON: The hit format Come Dine with Me continues to notch up sales for ITV Studios Global Entertainment, with 445 new episodes commissioned in Eastern Europe.

Come Dine with Me has been commissioned for 65 episodes by Serbia’s Nacionalna TV, while in Slovenia, Pop TV went for 120 episodes to begin broadcasting in spring. This commission marks the 20th country to give the format a local treatment.

The format is returning for a sixth season in Turkey on Show TV, which ordered 60 new episodes. A third season is on its way to Hungary’s RTL Klub, which commissioned 120 episodes, and there’s also a third season for RTL Croatia, with 90 episodes to air later this year.

Jennifer Ebell, the sales executive for Central and Eastern Europe, the Baltics and Turkey at ITV Studios Global Entertainment, said, “Come Dine with Me is fast establishing itself as the must-have format in commissioners schedules. The format is totally unique in its proposition and popularity, whilst extremely efficient in its production.”
