Jana Bennett Joins International Emmy Committee

NEW YORK: Jana Bennett, the director of BBC Vision, has joined the International Academy of Television Arts & Sciences’ Executive Committee.

In her role at the British public broadcaster, Bennett oversees BBC Television—BBC One, Two, Three, Four, HD, CBBC and CBeebies—as well the groups that commission and produce drama, comedy, entertainment and factual programs. She also heads BBC Films and has overall responsibility for BBC Archive Content and editorial management of UKTV and BBC America.

“I am personally so delighted that Jana Bennett is joining our Executive Committee,” said Bruce Paisner, the president and CEO of the International Academy. “Her creative and business savvy, across all sectors of our industry, will be a great asset to The Academy.”
