ION Bolsters Film, TV Series Slate

WEST PALM BEACH: ION Television has picked up a total of 35 feature film and TV series titles from three different Hollywood studios.

The U.S. network has picked up, from Twentieth Television, seasons one and two of the James Woods legal drama Shark and four seasons (572 30-minute episodes) of the reality show Texas Justice. Paramount Pictures Worldwide Television Distribution has licensed to ION a package of 15 film titles, including the The Godfather trilogy, Death Wish starring Charles Bronson and Top Gun starring Tom Cruise. From Warner Bros Domestic Television Distribution comes more than 12 releases, among them The Fugitive, GoodFellas and Space Cowboys.
