Babelgum to Present Exclusive Spirit Awards Content

LOS ANGELES/NEW YORK/LONDON: Babelgum has entered into a partnership with Film Independent for a selection of content from the 24-year archive of the Spirit Awards, which will be available across the online platform and its free application for Apple’s iPhone and iPod touch and Google’s Android device.

More than 140 clips dating back to 1986 are now available through the Spirit Awards channel at spiritawards.com and at babelgum.com/spiritawards, as well as via the Babelgum mobile app at babelgum.com/mobile. The footage is divided into categories so that its easy to find and share. The deal marks the first time a premier awards show will be making archival content and red-carpet footage available exclusively through mobile smartphone devices.
