Adult Swim Gives Robot Chicken Two-Season Order

ATLANTA: Robot Chicken is returning to Cartoon Network’s Adult Swim, scoring a two-season, 40-episode pickup for a fifth and sixth run.

The series is the highest rated original on Adult Swim. Robot Chicken is created and executive produced by Seth Green and Matthew Senreich, under their Stoopid Monkey Productions outfit, in conjunction with Alex Bulkley and Corey Campodonico’s ShadowMachine Films.

"We’re very excited," said Green, adding, "we never expected to do a second season, let alone a fifth and sixth, so we are thrilled by the audience response and how the show continues to grow internationally." Senreich commented, "We love Adult Swim. It’s really that simple. From the get-go, we’ve always said that Robot Chicken was a show where we play with friends and we look forward to doing that for years to come!"
