MTVNLA Development Exec Gets Expanded Role

MIAMI: Pablo Szneiberg has been promoted to VP of original content development for MTV Networks Latin America (MTVNLA), expanding on his current responsibilities to include MTV and VH1 Latin America.

Previously the director of development for Nickelodeon Latin America, Szneiberg was instrumental in developing the hit series Isa TKM (Te Quiero Mucho), Nickelodeon’s first original telenovela series for tweens. In his new role, Szneiberg will be responsible for overseeing original content and co-productions across the company’s programming and production outfits, in addition to launching innovative digital platforms. Based in Miami, he will report to both Tatiana Rodriguez, the senior VP of programming and creative strategy for Nickelodeon Latin America, and Fernando Gaston, the senior VP of content for MTV and VH1 Latin America.

“Pablo’s unique ability to tell stories has taken Nickelodeon’s programming to new heights resulting in tremendous pan-regional growth among viewers,” commented Rodriguez. “His contributions of original Nick content such as Skimo, Isa TKM and Isa TK+ have captured the hearts and loyal following of kids throughout the region and we couldn’t be more pleased to share his talent with MTV and VH1.”

“Pablo has been instrumental in raising the creative bar at Nickelodeon Latin America,” said Gaston. “His extensive experience with production, development and editorial in Latin America will be a great resource for MTV and VH1 as we continue to evolve and fine tune our content with compelling and creative material that connects with our audience and clients.”
