Asian Sales for Chuggington

LONDON: Ludorum has firmed up a range of broadcasting and licensing agreements throughout Asia for Chuggington.

Through an extension of its relationship with Disney, Chuggington is headed to new Asian territories such as Hong Kong, Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, South Korea, Thailand and Vietnam. The property launched on Playhouse Disney in October. Chuggington is also set to air in Hong Kong on TVB, Malaysia on TV3, Taiwan on YOYO TV and Thailand on TrueVision.

Ludorum has appointed Medialink as the property’s licensing agent in the region. Medialink has already firmed up 14 licensees across 14 product categories, including publishing, apparel and footwear, playsets, stationery, partyware, watches, clocks and accessories. Products are set to launch in Singapore, Malaysia, Hong Kong, Indonesia and Taiwan from spril 2010. Further deals are in negotitation across additional product categories and will be finalized during the Hong Kong Licensing Show.
