Top Chef’s Voltaggio Brothers Launch Culinary Website

LOS ANGELES: Michael and Bryan Voltaggio, the winner and runner-up, respectively, of Bravo’s Top Chef: Las Vegas, have partnered with EQAL, the social entertainment company behind hits like lonelygirl15 and KateModern, to launch a culinary lifestyle website and social network.

VoltaggioBrothers.com is an interactive website that showcases the brothers’ expertise in a variety of culinary topics such as technique, ingredients and gadgets. Additionally, the site will serve as an online destination for people to form a community and discuss the latest culinary trends, restaurants and other discoveries. New content will be posted daily. EQAL, also behind the successful online communities Get Cookin’ with Paula Deen and The Kind Life with Alicia Silverstone, will oversee the design and development of the website, providing the technology infrastructure to host site components on their Umbrella platform. Additionally, they will produce the video content appearing on the site as well as provide creative consulting for the Voltaggio brothers to develop their blog and photo content. EQAL will also assist in the advertising sales, marketing and licensing of the site.

"We are excited to partner with EQAL in launching VoltaggioBrothers.com," said Bryan and Michael Voltaggio. "The technology used to power the website will enable us to get our ideas out to our community. With this tool we will be able to update in real-time a view into our culinary world together and as individuals. There is so much that we have not yet shared, now we finally have our platform."

"The Voltaggio brothers have a visceral, emotional approach to food," added Greg Goodfried, the co-founder and president of EQAL. "This site will channel that passion into a complete destination for people who care about the ingredients they use, are interested in learning how food should be prepared, and which gadgets are must-haves for their kitchen."
