She’s Got the Look Returns for a Third Season

NEW YORK: TV Land has picked up a third season of She’s Got the Look, an original reality model competition that features women over the age of 35.

Series production is moving to Los Angeles for its third run, which will see a new crop of mature women battling it out for their chance at representing some of the most high-profile brands and highly-coveted campaigns in the fashion and beauty industry. Emmy Award-winner Allison Grodner (Big Brother, Blowout) returns as executive producer and has teamed up with executive producer Rich Meehan (Big Brother) in their first project together under their new banner, Fly On The Wall Entertainment. The show has also renewed partnerships with SELF Magazine and modeling agency Wilhelmina Models.

"She’s Got The Look resonates with our viewers who can identify with the show’s message of reinvention, second chances and achieving lifelong dreams," said Larry W. Jones, the president of TV Land. "The transformations and experiences these women go through are always so inspirational and this is sure to be another amazing season."

"Today, some of the most beautiful women in Hollywood and the world are over the age of 35," commented Sean Patterson, the president of Wilhelmina Models. "Just look at the magazines featuring Jennifer Aniston, Renee Zellweger, Eva Mendes and even Carla Bruni on a regular basis. It’s no coincidence that She’s Got The Look is quickly gaining resonance as a real and much-needed television show that is also heartfelt and extremely entertaining. We are very proud of our past two winners who are doing fabulously and are excited to find the next to add to Wilhelmina’s roster of beautiful men and women."

"The message of She’s Got the Look is to take on new challenges in your life, which is exactly what SELF encourages our 6 million readers to do every month," added SELF‘s editor-in-chief, Lucy Danziger. "By trying something outside your comfort zone, you always win."

Open casting calls for the new season of She’s Got The Look, slated for a 2010 premiere, begin December 6 in Los Angeles. There will also be open casting calls in New York City on December 12, in Memphis, Tennessee, on December 13 and in Columbus, Ohio, on December 15.
