Nickelodeon Ups Richard Barry in On-Air Creative Role

NEW YORK: Richard Barry has been promoted to VP and director of on-air creative for all Nickelodeon channels around the world.

A 19-year veteran of Nickelodeon, Barry was most recently VP of on-air for Nickelodeon U.S. He now takes on responsibility for the brand creative of all international Nickelodeon channels. His responsibilities including television branding, packaging and on-air promotions. He will work to establish global creative guidelines for local programming across all international media platforms and Nickelodeon properties. He will supervise the production of branded programming blocks, interstitial promotional material and will oversee packaging and style guides with local broadcast partners.
