LOS ANGELES: AmericanLife TV Network (ALN) has brought on Aaron Norris, who executive produced the long-running CBS series Walker Texas Ranger, to serve as president of development, with oversight for all acquisitions and production as well.

During his time as executive producer of Walker Texas Ranger, Norris guided the show through nine seasons and 203 episodes. He also has credits in co-writing and producing such films as Silent Rage, Lone Wolf McQuade and Invasion U.S.A. Norris directed action films such as Braddock: Missing in Action III, Platoon Leader, Delta Force 2, The Hitman and Hellbound. He went on to direct the films Sidekicks and Top Dog, starring Chuck Norris. Most recently, Norris produced the Sony/Screen Gems film Not Easily Broken, which was released in January.

"We are blessed to have Aaron join our executive team," said Chris Wyatt, the president and CEO of ALN. "His expertise and proven track record will help drive ALN’s original programming and take the network to the next level."

"I consider myself fortunate to work with Chris and the team at ALN," commented Norris. "Contributing to a family-oriented network and media outlet is an honor and a culmination of my career journey that is extremely satisfying. I believe in the focus our network represents and the void we will fill in the industry."
