3 Ball Hires New Development Exec

LOS ANGELES: 3 Ball Productions has brought on Brant Pinvidic to serve as its new executive VP of development, and also promoted Dan Snook to VP of development.

Pinvidic reports to 3 Ball CEOs and company founders JD Roth and Todd Nelson. Snook reports to Pinvidic.

Prior to joining 3 Ball, Pinvidic served as senior VP of programming and development at TLC. Before TLC, he was senior VP of development at GRB. Pinvidic also served as head of alternative programming at New Wave Entertainment.

Snook joined 3 Ball in 2006 as a story editor for 3 Ball franchise The Biggest Loser. He then became a development producer, and then director of development. His shows for 3 Ball include Friday Thunder (Discovery), Party Monster: Cabo (E!), Reality Bites Back (Comedy Central), Groomer Has It (Animal Planet), Hammer Time (A&E) and The Fashion Show (Bravo), among others.

Roth said, “With a stellar team across the board and a ton of hard work, 3 Ball has been experiencing enormous growth, both creatively and in sheer production volume, and we knew the time was right to expand our development group and take advantage of this momentum. Brant’s unique combination of TV experience and entrepreneurship makes him ideal to lead this charge. Working closely with Dan Snook, who brings so much personality and commitment to his work, and who has been invaluable creatively, the two are a dream team for 3 Ball.”

Nelson added, “When JD and I formed 3 Ball in 2001, we knew the key to success would be to work hard, love what we do, and hire dedicated, talented people who were smarter than we were. Everyone at 3 Ball fits this criteria, and that is why we are so happy to be welcoming Brant, who brings great energy, perspective and passion, and to be rewarding Dan Snook, who has worked so hard and contributed so much to the company.”
