KidsCo Grows Indonesian Presence

LONDON: The children’s channel KidsCo is to launch on satellite TV provider Indovision in Indonesia as part of its Kids Pack.

 
With shows such as The Wiggles, Corduroy, Heathcliff and original content like Jass Time!, the channel will offer Indonesian viewers three programming zones: preschool, 6 to 10 and family. Each zone features a mix of animated and live-action content, as well as family movies.
 
Paul Robinson, the managing director at KidsCo, commented: “Having launched on Okevision in July, this launch cements our position in Indonesia. With a population of around 220 million, the region is one of the most promising markets in Asia with only 2 percent of households currently subscribing to pay TV. The potential is huge and we’re delighted to be part of Indovision’s Kids Pack.”
