90210 Delivers for The CW

BURBANK, September 4: The
premiere of the updated 90210
earlier this week gave The CW its highest ratings ever in several key
demographics, including 18 to 49, delivering a total of 4.9 million viewers.

The two-hour premiere was
the highest-rated telecast of any scripted show for The CW among adults 18 to
34, women 18 to 34, adults 18 to 49 and women 18 to 49. The boost made The CW
the number one network of the night in adults 18 to 34, women 18 to 34, men 18
to 34, adults 18 to 49, women 18 to 49, individuals 12 to 34, females 12 to 34
and teens. The show also out-performed the series premieres of other WB and UPN
hits, including Dawson's Creek,
Gilmore Girls and Buffy The
Vampire Slayer
, in women 18 to 34.

The solid performance of 90210 came a day after the return of Gossip Girl delivered its best ratings ever in adults 18 to 34
and 18 to 49, and women 18 to 34 and 18 to 49. The second-season premiere
out-performed the series’ average last season by 35 percent in total viewers.
