9 Story to Premiere New Action Comedy at MIPCOM Jr.

TORONTO, October 3: Canada’s 9
Story Entertainment will present the animated action-comedy series Bash
Boys
to international buyers at MIPCOM Jr.
this year.

The company initially unveiled Bash Boys at MIPTV. In addition to the promo being screened at
MIPCOM Jr., 9 Story will introduce broadcasters to the newest production
elements, including art work and the bible for the series.

Aimed at kids 8 to 12, Bash Boys features a 13-year-old kid who suddenly finds out he
is a father—to a time-displaced 16-year-old from the future, and that the
fate of the world has landed squarely on their shoulders.

Other 9 Story properties available at the market include the
26×3-minute animated series Futz!, a
co-production with TELETOON, featuring the iconic anti-hero that never walks
away from a call to action; and Best Ed, the 52×11-minute 2-D-animated series that revolves around the unlikely
friendship of the always helpful Ed, a dog, and his squirrel pal Buddy. The
show is a 9 Story original production for TELETOON and Cartoon Network in the
U.K. The company has secured presales on the property with Cartoon Network
Europe and the Middle East, and most recently with ABC in Australia.
