4Kids Unveils New Fantasy Anime Series

NEW YORK: 4Kids Entertainment is to present at MIPTV the fantasy adventure series Tai Chi Chasers, which will be available for airing in the fourth quarter of 2011 in all markets outside of Asia.

The 39×30-minute series uses a combination of traditional cel and CGI animation. The show focuses on a young orphan who discovers that he is a descendent of the Tigeroids, an ancient race of peaceful beings locked in a struggle with the Dragonoids. He must now hone his innate tai chi card skills to fight the Dragonoids, find the lost symbols and battle to become one of the champion Tai Chi Chasers.
