2waytraffic Shareholders OK Millionaire Acquisition

HILVERSUM, December 18: The shareholders of 2waytraffic have
approved the company’s proposed acquisition of Who Wants to be a
Millionaire?
and other formats from the
Celador International library.

On December 1, 2waytraffic
announced it had reached a deal to acquire the Who Wants To Be A
Millionaire?
property, along with
Celador International’s remaining format library, for £106 million. The deal
will see the Dutch company acquiring the entire issued share capital of
Complete Communications Corporation Limited (CCCL), Knight Whitehill
Productions Limited and The River Studio Limited.

The acquisition gives
2waytraffic the rights to the worldwide game show hit, as well as about 30
formats in the Celador catalogue, including You Are What You Eat and Brainiest.

Under the terms of the deal, CCCL Chairman Paul Smith will
assume the role of executive producer of the U.K. version of Who Wants To Be
A Millionaire?
and consultant to
2waytraffic.
