The Cartel, a U.S.-based production, finance and management firm, has appointed Ryan Saul as manager and producer and promoted Bradford Bricken to partner.<\/p>\n
Saul, APA\u2019s former head of Motion Picture Literary, began his career as an executive assistant at the Walt Disney Company. Most recently, he was a Motion Picture Literary agent at Paradigm Talent Agency. His clients have included Tim Reckart (currently directing High in the Clouds<\/em> for Netflix), Josh Trank (Chronical<\/em>, Fantastic Four<\/em>), and Wes Ball (Maze Runner<\/em> franchise, Planet of the Apes<\/em>). He has also helped put together independent films like Stockholm<\/em>, Meadowland<\/em>\u00a0and\u00a0Dear Zoe<\/em>, as well as documentaries such as Hit So Hard<\/em>\u00a0and Pierre Cardin<\/em>. In animation, he\u2019s put together projects like Klaus<\/em>, Head in the Clouds<\/em>, Open Season<\/em>, Hotel Transylvania<\/em>, Chicken Little<\/em>\u00a0and Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs<\/em>.<\/p>\n Bricken has been a manager at The Cartel since 2014. He was most recently the executive producer on Netflix\u2019s Twelve Forever<\/em> alongside Stan Spry and Jeff Holland at The Cartel. He started his career in the Abrams Artists Agency mailroom before he was promoted to agent in the voiceover division.
