The Paley Center is set to relocate the Paley Archive to its new home at the Beverly Hills Public Library and has revealed its 2020 spring schedule, which includes\u00a0“Zoey\u2019s Extraordinary Playlist<\/em>: Screening & Conversation,” among a raft of others.<\/p>\n

Often referred to as a national treasure, the Paley Archive is the world\u2019s largest collection of publicly accessible television and radio programs, spanning 100 years and representing programs from over 70 countries. The archive will be moved beginning this spring.<\/p>\n

The Paley Center has also revealed its lineup of PaleyLive and Paley Media Council programs as part of its 2020 spring calendar.\u00a0Following a season launch earlier this month with a special program honoring Henry Winkler for his acclaimed body of work on television, the Paley Center\u2019s public programs will continue throughout the spring with events featuring some of the most respected names in television and entertainment. The events will take place at locations in Los Angeles and Beverly Hills, joining the Paley Center\u2019s annual PaleyFest television festival, which will take place in Hollywood in March.<\/p>\n

The upcoming 2020 PaleyLive LA programs include “A Million Little Things<\/em>: Screening and Conversation” (February 25), featuring members of the cast, including David Guintoli (Eddie Saville), Allison Miller (Maggie Bloom) and Chandler Riggs (Patrick “PJ” Nelson); “An Evening in\u00a0Little America<\/em>” (April 6), a screening of an episode from the Apple TV+ series followed by a conversation with the creative team, including executive producer and showrunner Kumail Nanjiani; and “Zoey\u2019s Extraordinary Playlist<\/em>: Screening & Conversation” (April 13), at which the series\u2019 creative team, including Jane Levy,\u00a0Mary Steenburgen and Peter Gallagher, will talk about the show.<\/p>\n

“We couldn\u2019t be more excited that Little America<\/em> is being recognized by the Paley Center. We\u2019re grateful to be telling these stories and have been blown away with the response from the audience,\u201d said executive producers and showrunners Sian Heder and Lee Eisenberg.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe truly couldn\u2019t be more excited or more honored to have a panel at the Paley Center. We look forward to talking about the first season of Zoey\u2019s Extraordinary Playlist<\/em>,\u201d said Austin Winsberg, the series\u2019 creator and executive producer. \u201cThere might even be some singing. And dancing, too. We can\u2019t control it. It\u2019s just what happens when you get this group together in a room.\u201d<\/p>\n

Furthermore, “An Evening with Gina Rodriguez and Diary of a Future President<\/em>“\u2014which will see Rodriguez and members of the cast and creative team host a screening and conversation about the inspirations for, and creative process behind, the series\u2014will take place May 1. “A Conversation with Brian Robbins” (June 25) will see Robbins, president of kids\u2019 and family entertainment for ViacomCBS, share how the network\u2019s animation slate ladders up to an overall strategy, as well as what\u2019s next for Nickelodeon.<\/p>\n

Additionally, the Paley Center will once again return to the Dolby Theatre March 13 through 22 for PaleyFest LA. This year\u2019s festival will open with the cast and creative team from ABC\u2019s Modern Family<\/em>, followed by Pop TV\u2019s One Day at a Time<\/em>, Netflix\u2019s A Special Evening with Dolly Parton<\/em>\u00a0and\u00a0Dolly Parton\u2019s Heartstrings<\/em>, CBS\u2019s NCIS<\/em>: 400th Episode Celebration, Amazon Prime Video\u2019s The Boys<\/em>, CBS All Access\u2019 Star Trek: Picard<\/em>, Starz\u2019s Outlande<\/em>r, HBO\u2019s Curb Your Enthusiasm<\/em>, Netflix\u2019s Dead to Me<\/em> and Ozark<\/em>, Pop TV\u2019s Schitt\u2019s Creek<\/em>, and the festival will close with Disney+\u2019s The Mandalorian<\/em>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
