{"id":9762,"date":"2020-01-22T11:27:26","date_gmt":"2020-01-22T16:27:26","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/dev2.worldscreen.com\/tvusa\/ovation-stocks-slate-natpe\/"},"modified":"2020-01-22T13:05:14","modified_gmt":"2020-01-22T18:05:14","slug":"ovation-stocks-slate-at-natpe","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/worldscreen.com\/tvusa\/ovation-stocks-slate-at-natpe\/","title":{"rendered":"Ovation Stocks Slate at NATPE"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Ovation has picked up a slew of new titles from distributors at NATPE, including a deal with Sky Studios for the second season of <em>Riviera<\/em> and one with TVF International for <em>Glamping Adventures<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>Ovation TV acquired the U.S. broadcast rights for the second season of the Julia Stiles-led drama series <em>Riviera<\/em> from Sky Studios, from which it also licensed the first season of <em>Hooten &amp; the Lady<\/em> to debut on its AVOD travel and culture channel JOURNY.<\/p>\n<p>Also for JOURNY, <em>Glamping Adventures<\/em> explores eco-tourism experiences, while <em>Vanishing Foods<\/em> takes a look at disappearing traditional culinary recipes. Both titles hail from Singapore\u2019s Mediacorp and were licensed by TVF International.<\/p>\n<p>Ovation picked up the non-exclusive U.S. digital rights for two titles from Espresso Media International: <em>JOURNY: Havana Curveball<\/em>, a documentary about baseball, U.S.-Cuban relations and Holocaust history, and <em>The New Creative India<\/em>, a docuseries offering an insight to the world of contemporary Indian design, art, mixed-media, jewelry, fashion and body art.<\/p>\n<p>From DCD Rights, Ovation licensed the non-exclusive U.S. broadcast rights for 11 mystery titles, among them two seasons of <em>McCallum<\/em>, the drama series <em>Missing<\/em> and films such as <em>Bloodlines<\/em> and <em>The Mystery of a Hansom Cab<\/em>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Ovation has picked up a slew of new titles from distributors at NATPE, including a deal with Sky Studios for the second season of Riviera and one with TVF International for Glamping Adventures.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":350,"featured_media":9763,"comment_status":"open","ping_status":"open","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"footnotes":""},"categories":[69],"tags":[2342,1515],"class_list":["post-9762","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","","category-top-stories","tag-journy","tag-ovation"],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v21.7 -
