Viacom has reached an agreement with NBCUniversal that keeps Comedy Central as the exclusive cable home of The Office<\/em> through 2021.<\/p>\n

After 2021, the series will continue to air through 2025 in a non-exclusive window on Viacom Media Networks. Comedy Central also renewed its deal for\u00a0Parks and Recreation<\/em> through 2024.<\/p>\n

\u201cKeeping the exclusive rights to The Office<\/em> through 2021 is a coup for Comedy Central and Viacom,\u201d said Tanya Giles, general manager of Comedy Central, Paramount Network and TV Land. \u201cSince acquiring it, we\u2019ve reinvigorated the franchise on linear, drawing big audiences throughout our full-day schedule. It\u2019s also been a key lead-in to help drive viewers to our own original, acclaimed comedies. We\u2019re so excited to keep it on our air that we wouldn\u2019t even trade it for an iPod.\u201d<\/p>\n
