Fernandez began working at Starz in 2007.<\/p>\n<p>In her new position, Fernandez will expand her leadership role, continue to spearhead the network\u2019s inclusion initiatives across the originals slate and continue to expand its female-forward programming. She will oversee new development and current productions for the network, including original series <em>Vida<\/em> and <em>American Gods<\/em>, in addition to the upcoming series <em>P-Valley<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>Carmi Zlotnik, the president of programming for Starz, said: \u201cMarta has done an excellent job of developing premium content and diverse talent, and has been a great representative for Starz in our goal of serving underserved audiences.
