Kimmel will also become a partner in Wheelhouse, which Montgomery created in January 2018 after stepping down from his post as CEO of ITV America. Kimmelot will be based in Los Angeles, with presence and resources in New York.<\/p>\n<p>Kimmelot will serve as Kimmel\u2019s \u201ccreative lab,\u201d operating in the unscripted, scripted, digital, apps and mobile-based arenas.<\/p>\n<p>Said Kimmel, &#8220;Brent\u2019s vision for Wheelhouse Entertainment is simple and brilliant and I knew immediately that I wanted to be part of it. Brent and I have a nice balance of monkey and business. Kimmelot will be a place where ideas are made real, from concept to completion.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThere\u2019s a saying, \u2018If you want something done, give it to a busy person,\u2019\u201d said Montgomery. \u201cThat sentiment, along with Jimmy\u2019s talent, heart, creative curiosity and crazy stamina make him an enigmatic superhero of comedy, and of writing, producing and industry building. From <em>The Man Show<\/em> to the Emmys, the Oscars, and keeping<em> Jimmy Kimmel Live!<\/em> appointment viewing 16 years in, Jimmy\u2019s reach is unrivaled in entertainment and way beyond\u2014and most importantly, he\u2019s just the greatest guy.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>He continued, \u201cWe\u2019re both excited to build a haven for the best talent in the business that want to cut through some of the proverbial red tape and get stuff done.
