Lionsgate has promoted Agapy Kapouranis to president of international television and digital distribution, succeeding company veteran Peter Iacono, who has decided to leave the studio to become CEO of TravelCadabra.<\/p>\n
Kapouranis joined Lionsgate in 2011 and most recently has been serving as executive VP of worldwide SVOD. In her new post, Kapouranis will report to Lionsgate’s president of worldwide television and digital distribution, Jim Packer<\/p>\n
Iacono has been part of the worldwide television and distribution group leadership team for nearly ten years. He has been leading all international distribution, acquisitions, sales and marketing for Lionsgate\u2019s TV and catalog feature slate, serving as president of international television and digital distribution, a post he has held for nine years.<\/p>\n

Additionally, Nannette Diacovo has been elevated to executive VP of television legal affairs at Lionsgate.<\/p>\n
Diacovo oversees the day-to-day operation of the Lionsgate Television legal affairs department, which she set up upon joining the company in 2013 as senior VP and head of legal affairs. Her duties include drafting and executing deals for scripted series across broadcast, cable and streaming platforms. She also manages all development and production legal affairs matters while assisting with corporate TV issues.<\/p>\n
