Carolyn Cassidy has been elevated to the post of executive VP of current programming at 20th Century Fox Television.<\/p>\n
Cassidy has run the studio\u2019s current series department since 2015. In her role, she oversees a team of executives responsible for managing more than 20 TV series for FBC, ABC, NBC, CBS, FX and Netflix. She is tasked with ensuring that the company\u2019s series are creatively vibrant, well-managed financially and that they become long-term assets in its library. Cassidy has grown franchise hits such as This Is Us<\/em>, Empire<\/em>, 9-1-1<\/em> and Modern Family<\/em>.<\/p>\n Cassidy manages relationships with high-profile creators such as Lee Daniels, Dan\u00a0Fogelman and Steve Levitan.
