CBS has revealed its 2018-19 schedule, which sees a complete overhaul of Monday nights, placing a Magnum P.I.<\/em> reboot at 9 p.m.<\/p>\n

Mondays kick off with two new comedies: The Neighborhood<\/em>, starring Cedric the Entertainer, at 8 p.m. and Happy Together<\/em>, featuring Damon Wayans Jr., at 8:30 p.m. This leads into Magnum P.I.<\/em>, a modern take on the classic series starring Jay Hernandez as Thomas Magnum, a decorated former Navy SEAL who, upon returning home from Afghanistan, repurposes his military skills to become a private investigator. Returning hit Bull<\/em> moves to a new day and time, at 10 p.m.<\/p>\n

Tuesdays are anchored by two established hits, with NCIS<\/em> opening the night at 8 p.m. and NCIS: New Orleans<\/em> capping off the evening at 10 p.m. The brand-new Dick Wolf drama FBI<\/em> sits in between, at 9 p.m. FBI<\/em> is a fast-paced drama, from the team behind the Law & Order<\/em> franchise, about the inner workings of the New York office of the Federal Bureau of Investigation.<\/p>\n

Wednesdays remain intact, with Survivor<\/em> leading into returning drama SEAL Team<\/em> and Criminal Minds<\/em> closing out the evening.<\/p>\n

The Thursday comedy block features The Big Bang Theory<\/em>, Young Sheldon<\/em> and Mom<\/em> serving as lead-ins for the Murphy Brown<\/em> reboot at 9:30 p.m. Original star Candice Bergen and series creator Diane English reunite for the comedy revival about the eponymous broadcast news legend and her biting take on current events, now in a world of 24-hour cable, social media, \u201cfake news\u201d and a vastly different political climate. S.W.A.T.<\/em> holds the 10 p.m. slot.<\/p>\n

Friday nights continue to feature MacGyver<\/em> at 8 p.m., Hawaii Five-0<\/em> at 9 p.m. and Blue Bloods<\/em> at 10 p.m.<\/p>\n

Saturdays feature Crimetime Saturday drama encores and 48 Hours<\/em>. Sundays see a new drama being launched alongside two proven hits. News program 60 Minutes<\/em> continues at 7 p.m., providing a lead-in for the uplifting freshman drama God Friended Me<\/em>, about an outspoken atheist whose life is turned upside down when he receives a friend request on social media from God and unwittingly becomes an agent of change in the lives and destinies of others around him. NCIS: Los Angeles<\/em> returns at 9 p.m., and Madam Secretary<\/em> closes out the weekend at 10 p.m.<\/p>\n

Also coming to the CBS schedule are the new dramas The Code<\/em>\u2014about the military\u2019s brightest minds who take on our country\u2019s toughest legal challenges, inside the courtroom and out, in the only law office in the world where every attorney is trained as a prosecutor, a defense lawyer, an investigator and a Marine\u2014and The Red Line<\/em>, from acclaimed producers Ava DuVernay and Greg Berlanti. Fam<\/em> is a new comedy that stars Nina Dobrev and Tone Bell about a woman whose vision of a perfect life with her adoring fianc\u00e9 and his wonderful parents is radically altered when her 16-year-old, out-of-control half-sister unexpectedly comes to live with her.<\/p>\n

Returning series include Elementary<\/em>, Instinct<\/em>, Life in Pieces<\/em>, Man with a Plan<\/em>, Celebrity Big Brother<\/em> and The Amazing Race<\/em>.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhen you have a prime-time lineup that won the season while competing against the Super Bowl and the Winter Olympics on another network, you look to keep your core schedule mostly intact, while making strategic moves to help grow nights,\u201d said Kelly Kahl, president of CBS Entertainment. \u201cWe\u2019ve maintained stability across winning nights while adding some important new pieces to our Monday night lineup. And, next year, we\u2019re positioned to build on this success with the addition of these exciting new shows and primetime events, such as The AFC Championship Game, Super Bowl LIII, The Grammy Awards and the NCAA Final Four.\u201d<\/p>\n
