{"id":8659,"date":"2018-04-09T05:01:21","date_gmt":"2018-04-09T09:01:21","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/worldscreen.com\/tvusa\/banijay-rights-places-package-ovation-u-s\/"},"modified":"2018-04-09T10:19:01","modified_gmt":"2018-04-09T14:19:01","slug":"banijay-rights-places-package-with-ovation-in-the-u-s","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/worldscreen.com\/tvusa\/banijay-rights-places-package-with-ovation-in-the-u-s\/","title":{"rendered":"Banijay Rights Places Package with Ovation in the U.S."},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Banijay Rights has sold a package of more than 65 hours of programming to the U.S. arts network Ovation.<\/p>\n<p>The agreement includes two seasons of Story Vault Films\u2019 <em>Portrait Artist of the Year<\/em> and two seasons of <em>Landscape Artist of the Year<\/em>, both originally produced for Sky Arts in the U.K. Ovation also secured the rights for IWC Media and Group M Entertainment\u2019s <em>Fake: The Great Masterpiece Challenge<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>In the way of scripted, Ovation went for the action-adventure procedural crime drama <em>The Pinkertons<\/em>, produced by Rosetta Media and Buffalo Gal Pictures.<\/p>\n<p>Scott Woodward, the executive VP of programming at Ovation, said: \u201cOvation has enjoyed a wonderful relationship with Banijay Rights over the years, which has brought such great programming as <em>Versailles<\/em> and <em>Rachel Hunter\u2019s Tour of Beauty<\/em> to the U.S. for the first time. Both <em>Portrait Artist of the Year<\/em> and <em>Landscape Artist of the Year<\/em> premiered on Ovation as well and were hits with our viewers.
